Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Hushling app and website, operated by Gökhan Öztürk (Istanbul, Türkiye). By creating an account you accept them.
Who may use Hushling
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. Hushling is for parents and carers; it is not a service for children, and a child may not hold an account.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. Give accurate information when you register; an account created with someone else's identity may be closed.
Not medical advice
Hushling is an informational and record-keeping tool. Nothing in it — sleep plans, growth percentiles, vaccination schedules, feeding guidance, tips or AI-generated content — is medical advice, and none of it replaces a doctor. Please read the Disclaimer; it is part of these terms.
Subscriptions and purchases
Hushling is free to download and includes a trial period during which paid features are available. After the trial, those features need a subscription. Some features are paid for instead with "stars", bought as a one-off.
- All payments are handled by Apple or Google. Hushling never receives your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel through your Apple or Google account settings — cancelling in the app alone does not stop billing.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
- Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's own policies, and are requested from them, not from Hushling.
- Stars are a one-off purchase, are consumed when you use a feature, have no cash value, and are not refundable or transferable once spent.
What you may not do
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Upload a photograph of a person without the consent of that person or their parent.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Use the service to give medical advice to others, or to sell anything.
The community forum
What you post stays yours, but by posting you allow Hushling to display and store it within the service. Posts are moderated: anything breaching these terms may be removed, and repeated breaches may cost you access to the forum or the account. Other parents' posts are their opinions, not Hushling's.
Availability
Hushling is provided as it is. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn. Advance notice is given where a change is significant.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Hushling may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hushling is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of information in the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and material changes are notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Hushling after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
