If your child is seriously unwell — struggling to breathe, unresponsive, having a seizure, badly dehydrated, or with a fever in a newborn — call your local emergency number or go to a hospital now. Do not spend time logging it.

What the different parts of Hushling actually are

Sleep plans

The nap and bedtime windows are produced by a rule-based calculation from your child's age and the answers you gave. They are a general starting point, not a prescription, and no algorithm can know your particular child. If sleep is a real problem, talk to your paediatrician.

Growth charts and percentiles

Growth is plotted against published reference populations. A percentile is a comparison, not a diagnosis — healthy children grow along many different curves. Only a clinician who has examined your child can say whether growth is a concern.

Vaccination schedule

The schedule shown is based on a published national programme and is there to help you keep track. Programmes differ by country and change over time, and your child's own schedule may differ for good medical reasons. Your clinic's advice always takes precedence.

Feeding and solid-food guidance

Ages for introducing foods, allergen information and portion suggestions are general guidance. Allergies, intolerances, reflux, prematurity and medical conditions all change what is right for a child. Introduce allergens and new foods on your doctor's advice.

Medicine and temperature records

Hushling records what you tell it. It does not calculate doses, does not check interactions, and does not decide whether a temperature is dangerous. Follow the dosing on the package and your doctor's instructions.

Tips, articles and weekly content

General parenting information, written for a wide audience. It is not tailored to your child and is not reviewed as medical guidance.

AI-generated images

The age-progression, family-resemblance and illustration features are entertainment. The images are invented by a generative model. They predict nothing about how a child will look, and carry no genetic or medical meaning whatsoever.

Accuracy of your own records

Hushling shows back what was entered. Mistyped, missed or duplicated entries produce wrong summaries and reports. Please check anything you are about to rely on — especially if you are showing it to a clinician.
